Juliet Ross Lewing

Juliet began her career in Retained Search as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the permanent placement arm of Power Industry Consultants in 1997 as they transitioned services into retained search.  Juliet soon took over the active Energy Practice, successfully developing new business and placing qualified candidates. 

 

Most recently, Juliet supported Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Business managing full-cycle, fast paced corporate recruiting for Corporate Executives roles as well as Brand Management, Digital Marketing, eCommerce Sales and associated Pricing, Insights and Decision sciences.  Having started as a vendor to GP to place HR and Plant personnel, Juliet has an understanding of the disciplines and complexity of a succesful vertically integrated organization. 

 

Previously Juliet supported Strategic Sourcing and Procurement in MRO/Capital, Recycling and Wood & Fiber Supply.   

 

With her experience and skills honed in the fast-paced search environment, Juliet founded JRA in order to focus on a more permanent relationship-building manner of search.  JRA employs its proven recruiting methods for all professional positions and management, most recently in both Industrial Plant/Refinery and corporate manufacturing environments by incorporating the specific desires of the hiring authority with the cultural needs of the organization.

 

Juliet started her career in the Square Mile in London with Exco International, the forex brokerage house and Kleinwort Benson Merchant Bank, moving to Switzerland in 1991 to work for the International Olympic Committee where she worked on four Olympic Games. 

 

Educated in France, Germany and England, Juliet has lived and worked in America for the last 25 years.

 

Nancy O’Brien May

A strategic partner of J Ross Associates, Nancy May, Principal and founder of Human Capital Partners, LLC (HCP), brings over 25 years’ experience in the executive search industry, as well as corporate experience in human resources and career transition services. Prior to the inception of HCP, Nancy served as a Partner for five years with another retained executive search firm in Atlanta. In 1995, she was recruited to develop the retained search practice for a global contract energy firm where she served as the Practice Leader for their start-up Professional Services Group. Nancy was acknowledged as a major contributor to that firm’s growth, as listed in Inc 500 Magazine as one of the fastest growing mid-cap companies in the U.S.

 

During her search career, Nancy has developed particular expertise in three functional areas: human resources (generalists/specialists in executive compensation and benefits in corporate and consulting positions); finance/accounting; and professional services sales/marketing. She has conducted senior and middle management level searches in a variety of industries, including financial services, professional services consulting, manufacturing, public accounting, energy, and telecommunications.

 

Concurrent with her role as a search consultant, Nancy has also assisted clients in developing programs to improve the efficiency and success of internal recruiting methods and hiring practices. Prior to entering the search industry, she functioned in marketing and practice development roles for the Southeast Region of Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers), and in human resources with Norrell Corporation (acquired by Spherion).

 

A graduate of Heidelberg University in Ohio, Nancy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences, with a minor in Psychology. Since then, she has completed postgraduate studies at Georgia State University.
